BRAVE Lunch: When the Lord Opens Doors

As we prepare for our upcoming BRAVE lunch today, we’re reminded of a truth that anchors everything we do, God is always at work, even when the noise of hardship feels overwhelming.
This gathering is simple by design: a shared meal, time to slow down, and space for honest conversation. But our prayer is that it becomes much more. That it would be a place where people feel seen, where walls come down, and where meaningful steps toward healing can begin.
In a world where stress, trauma, and brokenness can feel loud and constant, it’s easy to lose sight of what God is doing behind the scenes. But we trust that He is still opening doors, doors for connection, for restoration, and for people to step out of isolation and into community.
Even when evil feels loud, it does not have the final word.
We are expectant for what the Lord will do through this time together. That conversations will matter. That burdens will be shared. That even small moments will carry lasting impact.
BRAVE exists to create space for those who carry a heavy load, first responders, service members, and their families, to not have to carry it alone. Healing may not be instant, but it is possible, and it often begins with simply showing up.
We are especially grateful for the support from our community, whose prayers and financial generosity have made this gathering possible. Your support is not just appreciated,
it is making a real difference.
The doors are open. And we trust that the Lord will meet us there.
